Frozen

I've always been afraid of spiders. Tarantulas mainly, but they all are quite scary. Freezing when the lights come on, like Johnny did last month at the opera house. Our one year anniversary, we figured we should celebrate in style. I wore a gorgeous dress, it was to die for. We took our seats and held hands. The lights dimmed down and the show began. Just like that he disappeared.

He said he had to go to the bathroom, but honestly how long does that take. He missed the whole show. When the lights came back on he was kissing Barbara. You don't remember her do you? We went with her to the mall, met her mom and aunt on the train.

They were talking about their family get together. I felt so out of place. Frozen, like the mannequin that was wearing the jacket and sunglasses.

God, I wanted that jacket, but I could never afford it. Well, I could if I was a pornstar. But I would be one with specific tastes. I mean, I would never sleep with Ron Jeremy.

I don't care how big he is, he still wouldn't have the balls to put up with a woman like me.
